<p>My AP Lit class is very discussion oriented. The typical cycle is that we’ll have an assigned reading- usually a book, also poetry- and then be quizzed on the reading once. For the subsequent few class periods, we’ll have class discussions that dissect the author’s strategies and their associated effects. Then we do a timed in-class essay that deals with a major motif from the literature.</p>
