I just was wondering what you like the most about Yale...

it is free

if by free you mean insanely expensive, then yes.

nope, free.

for me at least. advantage of being poor.

amazing classes, amazing profs, amazing classmates, amazing buildings, amazing music groups/ec's... what's not to like? Well, besides the price tag.

Residential colleges, undergrad focus, diverse course offerings, beautiful campus, and unified school culture.

thriving social scene

residential colleges, and all the wonderful people therein. or else the libraries. sterling and beinecke are... just... amazing.

corruption in college admissions! Haha, kidding.

Everything minus New Haven :) (not that I've been there, but from what I've heard).

The Yale mascot is the Bulldog. Not just any dog, but a tough-ass bulldog. Bulldogs growl. They bite people. They reproduce. The Harvard mascot is a cantab. A cantab? (I didn't know what that was either.) A cantab is a wimpy little Puritan guy. Cantabs pray. They study. They are celibate teetotallers. They get the crap kicked out of them by Bulldogs.

Haha! Lol, your post made me laugh, wrath.

one word: majors (about twice as much as other colleges read: harvard, and 2 that are perfect for me!!!)

yeah the yale majors are really amazing

Agreed. The whole Yale/Harvard rivalry is superb.

they really encourage study abroad, the directed studies program, and they have awesome debate and MUN teams.

I wanna extend the offer again to talk about DS if anyone is considering it, because if you're thinking about it, you need to hear about both sides of the program - there are tremendous pluses, and some significant minuses, as well.
everything except new haven. :D and i mean everything.
