What do you knowledgable parents think looks better on an application: summa cum laude on my national Latin exam or high honors on my golden state geometry exam? Replies are greatly appreciated

Why do we have to choose?

I'm just curious thats all

I think it looks better if you have both.

Are we talking Golden State exam as in Ca? If so, practically worthless.

In our hs Latin program earning summa cum laude on the NLE is also known as being a Gold Medalist - if you're thinking about writing your resume, maybe that looks a bit more impressive? If you receive 4 or 5 golds, you also earn some nice named book awards from the American Classical League. Kids with 5 golds who are majoring in classics can apply for an annual scholarship. I think the Latin award looks good - wouldn't the high honors on a state math exam be shown on your transcript? And congrats on both achievements, btw.
