<p>BU has a lot in common with NYU and George Washington U. - they're all urban schools in the middle of Eastern cities that don't have campuses per se; they're a collection of buildings with the city in and among them. BU has the unfortunate geography of having a major four-lane highway run smack through the middle of campus, but that's the city. Boston is the nation's greatest college town. BU has remarkable performing arts programs.</p>

<p>I think they have decent science programs in general, I don't know specifically about neuroscience.
But it lacks a campus, and it's very expensive (little financial aid and little merit aid for anyone).</p>
