<p>I have applied at 5 different colleges and Kent State being one of them. I will be attending a college visit in the next couple of months. Although the website of the college and a college visit are just two sources of information. I'm curious to know what information that you know or have heard in regards to their University. I'm looking for your own thoughts and opinions.</p>

<p>It is a state school in Ohio.</p>
<p>My high school art teacher is alumni of Kent State. Said she couldn’t imagine a better college experience.</p>
<p>Then again, she went in like…the 70s so idk how relevant that is:p</p>
<p>My school beat that school in Football.</p>
<p>Common saying in Ohio: Kent read, Kent write, Kent State.</p>
<p>It’s a state university, not the biggest, not the best. The only national recognition it gets is for the fact that four students were shot there by the Ohio National Guard during the Vietnam era.</p>
