What do you think about my Essay Topic?

<p>I wanted to get an opinion about my essay topic and what you guys think about it?</p>

<p>The first half of the essay talks about a 1 month family trip to a poor area in Latin America. It is about how I got to live in poor environment and how it influenced me to truly appreciate the things we have in America. The second part of my essay talks about how I plan to return in the future in order to help the poor community and then it ties into my possible interest in studying foreign relationships and affairs. </p>

<p>Do you think this would be a good idea?
What advice or things do you think I should do in my essay?</p>

<p>It is a very cliche topic, but it can work (as any topic can) if you do a great job writing the essay and don’t simply state that you are grateful that you’re not poor.</p>

<p>The topic itself is not going to stand out, so make sure that your writing and anecdotes do. Other than that, if you think you can really write a good essay from this, then go for it!</p>
