What do you think are my chances are at McCombs?

Hey guys, I got my class rank and sat scores back today (stressful day) so I would love to hear your thoughts.

Here’s my information:

Class Rank: 19/543, top 3.5%
GPA: 4.58 w, 4 uw
SAT score: 2160 (700 M, 760 CR, 720 W)
10 ap classes between this year and next year
Ethnicity: White and asian
First generation college student

EC’s: Student Council President, National Honor Society Officer, 150 service hours, cross country and track, founder and president of a cultural diversity club, school staff’s advisory board vice president, Hugh O Brian Youth Leadership Delegate, Best Buddies leadership position

2160 or 2180? It does not matter but the math does not work above (20+60=80)

If your rank holds, you should be okay for McCombs- assuming you are in state.

My bad, it should be 2160 with a 740 reading

If you are in-state, I think you have a good chance. Test scores are above average and GPA is average (McCombs Standard). Hopefully you have written good essays and have strong reccommendations. Overall, I think you should be good.

You’ll get in if Instate, try to take maybe a business related class and do DECA to maybe even give you a shot at BHP, out of state you have a good chance still, but not a lock.
