What do you think happens when you die?

Actually, I believe in evolution.

I’m just saying that God intended it to be that way.

I do not and cannot know. I fear nothingness, but I hope for eternal existence, which is as much as anyone could hope for.

Well, either there isn’t anything supernatural, which leads to a logical paradox, or there is, which leads to a logical paradox.

You have to decide which paradox is more reasonable.

I feel like this is fast becoming the new Science-Religion thread.

Why and how would the universe exist in the first place if there was no supernatural?

^This will eventually lead to “Why does ANYTHING exist?” If supernatural beings exist, where did they come from? One can argue that because they’re supernatural, they do not conform to the laws that govern our universal, but such response is meaningless and has no merit in current debates.

I think it is in our interest to avoid questions on existence and the universe because they will lead to nowhere.

What’s the point of this post?

Logic will inevitably lead you to the conclusion that the universe doesn’t exist.

Perhaps the universe and its origins defy logic. We’re only human beings. We don’t see eternity through the eyes of God or an immortal, thus cannot comprehend eternity. I believe in the afterlife we will understand these questions.

If i’m dead, all of you have been dead for years

Yo dawg. I heard that you like religion.

So we put a religion in your religion
so that you could pray while you pray

inception!!!

when you die, you rot in the ground and cease to exist. I know, it sucks. Luckily life is pretty long.

^Life is long? :(

And yes, sad but true.

Really? Cartesian philosophy would posit that we would simply begin another life, as though 'twere a dream the whole time

Wait, so what happened before you were conceived? :o

I forget all my dreams :/

random color for 18 seconds

I really wonder.

Wellz… certainly not anything predicted by any religion we’ve created. And if not that, then it’s all up for grabs. prolly nothing, though.

But I’m going into biotech, so I hardly think I’ll have to worry about this for a few hundred years (=
