I'm applying to:
Pomona College (My #1 choice-I REALLY want to get in here)
University of Redlands
University of California San Diego (My #2 choice)
University of California Los Angeles
University of California Irvine
Possibly USC

Intended major: Undecided, though I'm leaning toward English

Specifically I'm hoping for Pomona, but what do you think my chances are overall? Thanks.

In at all but Pomona and a reasonable chance there. Why not add CMC to have a safer school in the Claremont group?

Anyone else?

You'll get in =)

Why did you mention that you're a diabetic? lol

Because it would affect his application's chances, 'fraid to say.

im sorry to be a debbie downer. i guess im really down becuause my chances at my dream school are shotty too. i think you would have had a decent shot at pomona IF you didn't have a 550 in math iic. UCs also highly value math sat iis, or maybe that's just how it looks at my school. i hope you get in though, but this just means you'll have to work extra hard on pomona's essays.

Pomona only requires two SATII scores with the new SAT, so technically the additional MathIIC score shouldn't matter, although they will see it along with your other scores.

yeah, the 550 shouldn't matter too much as you have to other good scores
