What i'm asking you to do is a very painful thing to do, and you're welcome to simply click out of this thread. If you're one of the honorable few that will go through this painful process to help me, God bless you. What I need you to do is...... look at my high school course descriptions. The link will be provided at the end of this post. I need you to compare this cirriculum with your high school's and I need your opinions about it. Ok, when you click on the URL below, scroll down to the very bottom where you'll see the "Course Descriptions by Department" links. Just read through all of them and i'd like to hear your opinion afterwards. Thank you!

I think...I'm falling in love..

That's great to know Invoyable.... but can I please have your opinion about my HS cirriculum? BTW, who exactly are you in love with?

Seriously, like anybody on CC has time for this? Lol. I clicked your link and your school has a very nice home page :] that's about all I saw.

Well, your high school curriculum makes mine look like Kindergarten. That's all I can say. Why are you asking this anyway?

INVENIAMVIAM, I have time for this, haha. I didn't go through all of it, though. I just looked to see that AP courses are offered, and they are. So it's more extensive than my high school.

Thanks for the replies, I wanted to know if my high school cirriculum was good because it seems everyone here has a better choice of AP classes than I do. Not to mention a better selection of ECs. But then again ECs are not what I asked about. Thanks again for the replies

Do you really have to show off your school?

Bothwings: Some schools have NO APs (and no IB). Like mine. Don't take your wonderful course choices for granted (and they are pretty wonderful).

^ Also, in college admission, it doesn't matter if your school doesn't offer APs, IBs, or honors. Adcoms only care about that you took advantage all the resources you had, in spite of the lack of advance classes.

Thanks again for the new replies. And no Friedrice, I didn't do this to show off my school. In fact, I'm quite ashamed of it. I still have no idea how I let my parents convince me to go. And this is a private school and it's quality is so low despite it's price. It's more scary than it is saddening. Thanks for your second reply btw.

Yeah, I could have gone to an elite private school, but instead I went to a public, which had a better academic program.

Ok Bothwings, I take it you are going to be a freshman at la salle in, well, a few days now, right? I will tell you something- I went to la salle for my freshman year, and that was all I could take. If you really want to know about this school, I will tell you everything I know, in detail. Just e-mail me, Ok? I think it would be good for you to know as much as possible from the start, so you do not have to learn everything the way I did.

highly above my high school's courses. you go to an amazing school, be proud.

Your schools has the same APs as mine plus a few more. I go to a large public high school for reference.
I like how you get so many elective choices that most other students wouldn't be offered. like genetics and biotech.
I did look at a few specifics in the curriculum:
The English classes at my school seem more rigorous, more papers, etc.
Everything else basically matches up well, although I'm sure your school is better.
