I'm thinking of majoring in Astronomy and Physics although I might change my mind in the future to double majors in Philosophy and Astrophysics instead...with that said, I'm pretty sure that astronomy is a must. Taking all these into consideration, what do you think of this schedule? I know that I don't have a lot of courses here but my school recommends that we take 5 courses only.

1) English IV: Creative Writing
2) Political Philosophy
3) AP Calculus AB
4) AP Physics C
5) Advanced Experimental and Observational Astronomy

I go to a private boarding school. As for colleges, Princeton, Cornell, and the University of Arizona are at the top on my list. In my knowledge, they have very strong physics and astronomy departments.

Astronomy is very strong at the U of A and we have awesome telescopes and clear skys here. It's also a much better value than Princeton or Cornell.

yeaaa Tucson!
....even though I'm leaving...

Yep, I've heard about the astronomy program at UA. I have a friend there right now who is majoring in astronomy. I might attend the astronomy camp there next summer! Their telescopes sound amazing!
