What Do You Think? (Prospective Hospitality Student)

<p>Hello! I am currently a rising senior and I am curious if anybody in the CC world could tell me if they think I am capable of getting into BU as of right now! </p>

<p>-GPA 3.5 Unweighted 3.9 Weighted
-SAT 1600 (eek!)

  • AP Classes: Lit(N/A),Language(3),U.S. History(3),Econ(N/A),Gov(N/A),Stats(N/A)
  • ~300 Hours of Community Service
  • Went to China this Summer through an Exchange program
  • Will be doing 2 internships this year (One for the marketing department of a local News Station, and one for a Hotel)
  • Teen “Club” Promoter for 2 years
  • JV Basketball for 2 years
  • Working at a Local Supermarket for 1 year exactly</p>

<p>I plan on applying to the School of Hospitality</p>

<p>I think the only think keeping you from admittance right now is your SAT score, but I think you know that. The average SAT score for the class of 2016 is 2000 so you definitely need to get that up to at least 1900. Try the ACT if you haven’t done so already.</p>
