<p>I'm a rising senior, interested in attending Columbia University. While I know that there is a lot more to admissions than test scores, I'd like some input as to how my SAT scores measure up. </p>
<p>I don't think that I could do much better on the reading or the math, however I was rather disappointed with my writing score. I could probably bring that up.</p>
<p>Firstly, if I am not mistaken, the universities are not really considering the writing section at this point. In truth most ppl who apply have better scores that those. but I was in you shoes a couple of months ago. But as i stated in the previous thread i had 700 math 640 verbal and 610 writing. Though I consider myself fortunate to be accepted, there is still hope to be accepted with those scores. As you rightly said, there is more to admissions than test scores, and I am a living witness to that statement.
