Do we have to do all the applications and documentation online? Like the recommendation letters, ISFAA, application fee waivers?

I was wondering, is it possible to send all the documents online? What materials will be needed to sent by snail mail?

c’mon guys… helping doesn’t hurt… :D

@OP, look every college has its own policies for that… Some colleges might accept it by email only, some may ask that your teachers email those documents (especially fee waivers) and some may require you to mail it… or fax it…

I applied to about 10 colleges and none of them asked me to mail them… I either faxed or emailed them almost all of the forms…

I was esp. wondering about the recommendation letters. Should they be emailed too? or they require them in signed and sealed envelope…My school is not at all familiar with common app so its kinda stressing …

while filling out details in the common application, the system asks for email address/contact no. and other info about your GUIDANCE COUNSELOR and the TEACHER RECOMMENDERS. You need to provide those in the system.

Then your teacher will get emails regarding how to create a common app account for teachers. And then they can provide evaluations and upload their RECOMMENDATIONS.

Just for the Record, Make sure that your recommendations are on the official letter pad of your school, thoroughly read and signed by the teacher and bears a school’s stamp.

and what about transcripts?? Colleges will still need a hard copy, no?

@ameetbh123: take a look at all common app forms thoroughly. also ask your GC to do the same. everything, i repeat, everything, can be completed online. Yes, transcripts as well.

Ya I’ll do it but my GC (principal in my case) is not familiar with the whole thing… did you do the same? I mean completed all the documentation online? and what about fee waivers?
