<p>It means no one responded and the thread got pushed back a million pages so they want it to be read again.</p>
<p>It's an acronym. Bring Up My Post.</p>
<p>The list of forum topics on the main page is listed in order by the date that somebody last posted to the thread. The most recently updated thread is listed first. By "bumping" a thread, someone is moving it to the top of the list so that it is more likely to get another response.</p>
