Hi So I checked Northwestern University website, and it says if I am to apply as a Early Decision Applicant, the deadline for standardized test scores is October Test Date. I took SAT test on October 1st, and the score won’t be available until Oct 27th. So can I submit the scores after it is available? Will it be too late? Or do I need to submit my score of the previous SAT?

They expect you to have sent your October standardized tests directly to them rather than waiting until the results are released to send them yourself. I suggest contacting admissions to ask.
It means they accept through the October test dates for ED, both SAT and ACT. It also means they accept scores after the Nov 1 application deadline including because those ACT scores will not even be out until Nov 8.
