What does it mean to get "wait-listed" for UT Austin? How many wait-listed applicants get accepted?

<p>For this cohort, out of 35,431 applicants, 321 were offered wait list and 225 accepted positions on the wait list. Of those, 34 were eventually admitted (i.e. came off the wait list).</p>
