<p>I read on another post somewhere that someone made it to the review committee or something like that at Duke? Anyone have any clue?</p>
<p>I know nothing about the process at Duke. At other places, the applications are reviewed individually and then, depending on the nuances of the school, by committee before final decisions are made. At some schools, the committee only reviews the maybes, with the absolute yes and no applications already handled. </p>
<p>Obviously, there are variations from school to school. Special cases (e.g. athletes, legacies) may be handled separately.</p>
