What does the admission office do during the summer?

<p>I imagine they have a party and watch movies in office every day, but of course I am probably wrong. Just curious though: in between admission cycles, what is there for them to do?</p>

<p>drinking games, sexcapades, using the copier to print pictures of their butts, and other wild and crazy stuff you DON’T hear about the admissions office doing in the academic year!</p>

<p>Oh ya, and getting together and deciding what they need/want for their student body.</p>

<p>Yeah, the admissions office rarely has “off time”. During the summer they’re working very hard to attract new students to apply to their school - going on the road to give info-sessions, preparing and sending out pamphlets and viewbooks, etc.</p>

<p>when does the admission office start getting busy? how about now (august) until the application deadline? what are they busy with? are they actively on the road recruiting and promoting?</p>

<p>Recruiting efforts for next years class…the cycle begins!</p>

<p>They also have kids visiting during the summer too. Tours and info sessions (those on-campus and off) never end!</p>
