<p>No......it just means that the team coaches have been notified of those applicants who expressed interest in a sport.</p>

<p>One of my friends got an email from the swimming coach as well. I think she told me that they had emailed everybody who had indicated one of their interests as "swimming". So,as far as I know, it doesn't show that you are being given special interest. But best of luck anyway.</p>
<p>yes, but after the coach sent those "mass e-mails" to all the potential swimmers, he sent antoher personal one asking for my frd's swimming background... so this must be something positive right?</p>
