What does this mean?

^ Really? So if I never got a likely, I still have hope? Hrmmm...well there's only a few more days left until the decisions are out. No use worrying about it now I guess =/

I'm an ISP applicant, and didn't get a likely email, I hope it's not a bad sign.

So basically one of two possibilities are likely:
a. the email was sent to all applicants who will be admitted next week (makes sense because it's just two weeks before we'll know for sure)
b. the email was sent out to candidates who NU really wants?
(doubtful... it's too close?)
I really dont' know. I don't think I'm an exceptional candidate, and I don't think my best friend is. Aside from semi-decent scores, good grades, the National HIstory Day contest, and a few other EC's we haven't done anything spectacular.

Oh hey guys, here's a scary thought: The email went out to all rejected applicants, in an attempt to make us feel better about ourselves!!

Ditzy - Get a life (sarcasm there). You know that they wouldn't do that to you, and you know that you're probably in because you got one (you should = :) right about now).

Did you apply to other schools that are maybe more "highly thought off". I know a lot of schools try to entice applicants who they think will get into better schools by showing a lot of interest in them.

I just hate that schools play these kinds of mind games with us! Couldn't they just wait and send out all the letters so we can all just find out together?
