what exactly do i do for TEACHER RECOMMENDATIONS?

<p>so far this is what i have done:</p>

<p>1) I have contacted my teachers and they have said that they would write me a recommendation</p>

<p>2) I have envelopes, stamped and addressed, but I have not given them to my teachers yet</p>

<p>what exactly do i do after giving my teachers the envelopes? </p>

<p>is it bad if they send their recommendations before I submit my application?</p>

<p>what forms do I have to give to them? where can I find the teacher recommendation form for the Common App (if i need to give it to them)?</p>

<p>They can either do it online or by paper. If by paper give them the envelope and the teacher rec letter form printed from common app at the website (downloads).</p>

<p>Its best if you submitted some part of the application before they send it, so they have u in the system</p>

<p>I suggest asking them to do it online. Some of the teachers have pretty bad handwriting and generally, when people type they are more conscious of what they are writing for they can go back and edit it while when you write with a pen, you sort of have to just keep moving.</p>
