What exactly do I need to major in?

<p>Hello, I want to go into Human Resources, maybe an HR manager. But I'm not sure what to major in. I thought I just needed a major in Business management and then get PHR certified, but my parents say I need to double major because just a management degree will not get me anywhere. So what do I major in if I want to go into HR? Thanks</p>
