What exactly...

That’s backwards. Just remember-- people like that don’t usually do so hot after high school.

I know, I tried to tell them that kind of crap doesn’t flow in the real world. Their answer “What is this? Not the real world?” The real world to them is the same box they live in. sigh tis reminds me of a quote I have to write something on for english.

I’ve noticed as I write these things that I sound really annoying, but I’m really not! I swear! I’m just really judgmental and critical at the moment

I get it. People think I’m snobby and stuck-up but in reality, I just don’t like them.

exactly. apparently my class(they don’t allow us to switch b/c we might gasp talk to someone) is the goody 2 shoes lame class b/c we’re not 100% ghetto even though a)we break everything b)we’re extremely violent sometimes c)half of our class leaves for intensive and the ones that leave are legit BAD (our class has the most out of all 4 for kids to go 2 intensive; 19/31 stay) d)they’re reason for us being goody 2 shoes’ is that we have more white kids, lk wt f?

You can’t understand how stupid people think. That’s why I don’t try, but I laugh at them.

^ Describes my time in Memphis.

Again they know not **** me off because I will intentionally make them feel like ****.

I’m the only black guy likely doing the IB Diploma next year, and I feel honored and privileged to have been told I make a great Diploma Candidate. And still all the black people think I’m some racist against black mother****er.

Jealousy is an ugly thing.

^wt f o.O ?

^ Yeah, it’s weird.

Quote:

■■■■■, you ain’t no real ■■■■■, you probably be *ing them white girls like *.

Guess I’m not a real black person either, cause I like white guys.

^that’s the most ignorant statement I’ve heard since…today lol

People seem like they really dedicate themselves to reversing the civil rights movement and the like. I don’t they those people involved would appreciate what their legacy has created.

^haha same

which y i dnt get when ppl r like “she probly likes white boys.” like, is that supposed to be an insult (this is hypothetical)

Seriously, I don’t get that either, but whatever, I still like white guys.

Lol it happens to all of us…even though i don’t get called an oreo sometimes my black/african friends will jokingly tell me [usually after i do or say something]“OMG, YOU’RE SO WHITE SOMETIMES/ C’MON DON’T BE ACTINN ALL WHITE ON ME DAMNNN!! etc etc etc…”

but one of my nigerian guy friends HAS to be the whitest black guy I’ve ever known.

And then I have some white ppl calling me ghetto! lol ***…

^ i see where ur coming from.

i think its funny the roles have totally reversed since like…even the 80s/90s

Yeah, my nickname is oreo.

however, I love asians.
And Math.
And Science.

^^^I was jealous of my Ethiopian friend when I was in 7th and 8th grade because it seemed like he got a free pass to not be asked to act “black” just for being African. Grrrr!
For me: Acting “white” (frequently) —> Assumed to be mixed.

But I can’t really be bothered to care.

Oh, but, funny story about oreos: When I first learned the term from my sister, since she was in HS, I told my elementary school friends about it. However, one of them didn’t really have a full understanding of it, and decided that I was a Mint Milano, because I was tan on the outside and black (not in that I “acted” a certain way, but in that it’s my race) on the inside. Good times.

^^^ lol yeaaaah and then last week while i was “serving” a detention I started talking about my favorite rappers w/ this one kid that was wearing a Tupac t-shirt…since the convo started out w/ “i like tupac too!”

…and then all this group of black girls started looking at me funny/like i was crazy then one of them said, " that just doesn’t seem right!" b/c to them i probably dont look like i listen to hip hop or rap music lmao.

I wish I knew why people assume I’m mixed, cause I know I don’t look it.

@ Millancad: I totally see where ure coming from. Black ppl dont even call me black, they call me somali or ethio (not ethio though) hahaha…

even though im black i don’t have to perpetuate stereotypes lol.

^^^OMG, legit. You don’t know what people do when I mention that I <3 Tupac.
Actually, it goes sort of like this (from Facebook):
quote Millancad will remain a soldier 'till the war is won.
[Friend 1] likes this.
[Friend 2] is this a boondocks reference? LOL
[Friend 3] yeah i’m shocked
[Friend 2] i’m not shocked; it’s highly obvious that Millancad is a consistent observer of modern african-american culture :3

[/quote]

Grrr.
