I did my Masters in Electrical Engg with 3.32 GPA from Univ of Southern California(USC)[Class of 2011 ] and now working for Intel.

I do not have any extracurricular to talk about rather than my on campus jobs at USC and one small event in my undegrad from China with some 68% marks in my undergrad engineering.

How should I improve my profile .. I am aiming for high GMAT score.

Which books I need to use and which material links I can use to get a nice score.
Also What I need to do about Extracurricular activity...
Like where to begin with and I personally do not have much choice.. i can teach Maths to
kids and all ..
Please guide me !

Ummmmm… what is your question? Are you trying to place yourself as a candidate to HBS (as evidence by your taking the GMAT)? Then may I suggest you go to the library or local Barnes & Noble and get a book on how to apply to selective MBA programs and GMAT test prep? If you can’t discover these items, you should seriously consider NOT applying to HBS or its ilk.

This forum is for Harvard College aspirants, BTW.

For a college grad that seems like a pretty weak question to ask. LOL. The real question should be “What Extracuriccular will you enjoy talking about in your Grad Application?” Do whatever you love, cause i’m guessing that passions are even more important in the Grad school application process than in the college application. Sooo if Math and kids is your thing, go for it. Start your own tutoring program.

Thanks @T26E4.
So,I would like to know what extracurricular activities one can do to start with so that one can get accepted at good school ?
Is 3.32 GPA at MSEE good enough for Harvard ?

Thanks a lot @ Speakerbox ! Thats a good suggestion …

Any top B School file reader will want to know: why does this person want to apply to my MBA program.

ECs? Get a job and rise to the top. Have managers rave about you. What’s your work experience? What will be your GMAT? A 3.32 Masters GPA is going to hurt you more than help you.

Finally, stop fethishizing HBS and develop a broad list of MBA programs, if you’re truly serious.
