Let's forget that last one....sorry but I am ashamed that she is a graduate of the same school as me. Her comments about 9/11 wives only seeking fame and glory disgusted me. I notice that she is not listed among the well known alumni in a publication my son received from Cornell.

personally i think her comments are justified although seriously lacking tact but obviously thats because of my political preference. i also noticed that her name was conveniently omitted from the alumni list. what disconcerted me though was the presence of her more liberal counterparts. i feel ezra wouldve liked all to be shown from both sides of the political spectrum.

one of the things i love about cornell openness of opinion

I may not be of Ann Coulter's political persuasion but I respect her right to be conservative. However, I don't respect her comments that I consider hate mongering and more than "lacking tact."

clearly the woman needs to shut up on many topics but i also think that at the heart of that particular issue her point was valid. im from new york, my dad was in tower one, my best friends father also was murdered that day so im extremely touchy about the subject but at the same time i think she was right when all the callousness of her word choice is removed.

thats an idea...someone should start a political issue thread although im sure not many people would care about it haha. it would be interesting to hear what everyone thinks though. i guess for the most part cornell is liberal-->liberal/moderate?

cornell is def. more on the liberal side...a major reason why i am applying.
Isnt Kurt Vonnegut a Cornell alumni too? I love his books...

kurt vonnegut = amazing

wow that made me like cornell even more. as if i needed another reason.

The Perfect Score -- The movie about stealing the answers to the SAT.

Ann Coulter makes a valid point in that book. I must admit, though, that some of the language she uses is reprehensible. Nevertheless, I am not ashamed that she is a graduate of Cornell.

OMG YOU GUYS. I cannot believe Bill Nye the Science guy was not listed first on this thread...

I had lunch with bill nye. And dinner. And we played Frisbee on west campus. Beat that.

oh really? I heard he was sort of a jerk from one of my friends who met him too...is that true? Hahh..I mean, don't get me wrong, I still think he's amazing

i grew up with Bill Nye! and his lame cheesy songs that i thought were the coolest, like absolute zero cool, things ever!

the ORIGINAL dirty dancing. Neil Kellerman, grandson of Max Kellerman who is the rich resort owner. ahhaha. but yeah, he went to cornell HOTEL SCHOOL =]]] sadly, this is where I first heard of cornell hotel school, which led me to search it up..etc etc. hahha
