I’m an International student, started late due to some personal issues.
I took January 23rd SAT, Can you name some good college that are still accepting applications for fall 2016.
P.S. I’m interested in STEM fields especially Physics and Engineering.
What is your financial situation? It is hard to make recommendations without test scores, too.
CC has a thread called Colleges with rolling admissions. You need to check that, becasue you have missed the deadlines for all other schools. There is a tool her on CC called SuperMatch. You put in your stats and it will match you with colleges. Good luck.
@Lindagaf There are many very good schools with application deadlines in February, March, or later.
I stand corrected.
Hobart and St Lawrence are 2 good LACs with Feb 1 deadlines
http://www.collegesimply.com/guides/application-deadlines/ you still have plenty of great options!
Michigan and Purdue
@Intparent I would rely more than 50% on aid. SAT score is awaited.
Washington College, College of Wooster and Allegheny College are a few LACs with a Feb 15 deadline.
Hendrix.
Not sure about engineering, but College of Wooster and Muhlenberg are good schools that are still accepting applications.
More in your area of interest: Worcester Polytechnic, Rensselaer Polytechnic, Rochester Institute of Technology.
@porcupine98 RPI deadline already passed (RIT too I believe), but WPI still open and has a good engineering program (expensive though so you’d need to get a lot of merit aid).
Wisconsin-Madison closes Feb 1. Michigan too. Both have good engineering programs, especially UMich (hard to get into though).
@insanedreamer That’s not what I see…
RPI says 2/15: http://admissions.rpi.edu/undergraduate/admission/freshman/options.html
RIT says 2/1: http://www.rit.edu/emcs/admissions/apply/freshman/requirements
Rose-Hulman - still open, and excellent undergraduate engineering program.
Look at the midwestern engineering schools - Michigan, Michigan Tech, Purdue, Wisconsin-Madison. (around Feb 1) Also Georgia Tech (March 12).
Ohio state, TCU Wisconsin
@porcupine98 I stand corrected. This is new for RPI because last year it was definitely Jan 15 (my D applied there last year).
@goodfellow991 in that case, I recommend RPI as excellent engineering choice. My D quite happy there.
