<p>I want to apply to Tisch for film and television but I want to know what I should aim to score on the SAT I and SAT II in order to get in?!? Plus I know Tisch looks for talent, so I'll work really hard on my portfolio. Any advices?!?</p>
<p>You don’t need an SAT II to get into tisch. That was my understanding.
They don’t really look at your SATs that heavily either, just your portfolio</p>
<p>That’s not true, of course the SAT matters. It’s 50/50 between academics and your portfolio. But it’s more or less agreed that they’ll be a little lenient on your grades if your portfolio is impressive. That said, high grades will not do much if your portfolio is lacking. I personally know a girl who was rejected from Tisch Drama (audition instead of portflio) with a 2300 and 3.8 so I’m assuming her audition must have been pretty bad.</p>
<p>Tisch average stats are about 1350 out of 1600 and a 3.7, regular NYU CAS is higher at just under 1400. I got into Film this year with a 1380/1600, 2040/2400. So as long as your within the range of 1350, you’re fine and the rest will all be on your portfolio and essays. Some film kids with lower stats are put into LSP are a year also.</p>
