So right now I am in a community college pursing a computer science degree. Currently my uc transferable gpa (and csu transferable) is 3.52, but my cumulative gpa is 3.12. My cumulative gpa is low because I did bad in my intro to physics class (got a C) which I took while I was attending high school and latter I learned that the physic class I took is not related to my major or ge at all (I was guided badly by my counselor).

As of now I have 29 quarter units and 24 transferable units. I am getting a little worried because I heard that some colleges look at cumulative gpa which might bring me down when I am trying to transfer. So do colleges look at your transferable gpa or your cumulative gpa?

Colleges I want to transfer do: Cal Poly SLO, UC Santa Barbara, UC Davis, UC Irvine

Other Colleges I am planning to apply to: SJSU, Cal Poly Pomona, UC Santa Cruz, University of Santa Clara.

I know I have a lot more classes to take but I want to know if colleges will look at your cumulative gpa when applying.
