What GPA Should I have as a CSU to UC Transfer

Hello everyone, I am currently a student at CSUSB and planning to transfer to UCI, UCSD, UCSB, and UCB. And I was wondering what Gpa would be recommended for me to have pretty good chance of being admitted.I am a physics major and have an overall GPA of a 3.69 and hope to at least obtain 3.7 when I update my application in January.

Using this tool: https://www.universityofcalifornia.edu/infocenter/transfers-major

The IQR for admitted transfer students in physics is:

Berkeley: 3.62-4.0
UCSB: 3.23-3.80
Irvine: 3.32-3.87
Davis: 3.17-3.63

Of course, this is the interquartile range, and for ranges that extend to 4.0, we really don’t have a good idea of where the mean is.

For CSU to UC transfers, make sure that all pre-requisites listed on assist.org are completed as well.

My pre-requisites such as my physics sequence and a couple of math courses should be done by the end of this academic school year.

Then you are definitely a competitive applicant! Good luck.

One of the things i’m worried about is that I haven’t done my second English course yet. I’m planning to do that in the winter or spring quarter. I not sure if that would ruin my chances of getting in.

It should be okay.
