What Grade am I in USA???

<p>Hello... Born Feb 1996..If I was in USA want grade would I be entering 2011-2012?</p>

<p>You would be entering 10th grade, the sophomore year of high school.</p>

<p>^^^ and in case you are unfamiliar with the word ‘sophomore’ - that means 2nd year. </p>

<p>Freshman = 1st year
Sophomore = 2nd year
Junior = 3rd year
Senior = 4th year</p>

<p>10th grade?! Wow. I live in NZ and I’m a year 11 at the moment (out of 13) school starts in late Jan and school end in early Dec. I think in USA school starts around early sep and finishes sometime around June? So in NZ we finish half a year because student in USA. I think that right?</p>

<p>Most students in USA also go to school 13 years…the first year is Kindergarten, then 1st…etc…up to 12th. After that comes college (university).</p>
