What grade would I be in?

<p>I'm currently a high school freshman, so this summer I'd be a rising sophomore. For summer programs, would I be a freshman or a sophomore? How does the grade system work during the summer?</p>

<p>The summer after freshman year is what your grade will be in. For my transcript, it shows up the next year (meaning sophomore year)</p>

<p>I mean, if a summer program says it’s for sophomores and older, would I be eligible, or would I have to wait until the summer after my sophomore year?</p>
