Basically the whole quarterly vs. semester vs. year grades. I’ve been told that colleges have to request quarterly grades, and rarely ever do. So I was wondering will colleges look at semester grades, especially in comparison to yearly grades and grade trends going up/down. Are more prestigious schools going to scrutinize semester grades more than any other universities? Also, will they look at individual grades (like a 93 vs 95), or just letter grades (A, B) and GPA?
Whatever’s on your transcript is what they will see. If your transcript reports letter grades and not percentages, they will see letter grades. If your transcript includes pluses and minuses, they will see that. If your transcript only shows semester grades, they will only see semester grades.
So check with your school. It differs.
