What happens during a Middlesex Interview?

I have a Middlesex interview coming up soon. Can anyone who's had an interview there give me some help on this?

Exeter interviews to please

I heard at one of the schools you have to write an essay during the interview. I am not sure which one though.

That’s at Middlesex. I was so surprised when I had to do that.

Does Middlesex offer off-campus interviews?

you will be given a tour, have an interview with an admissions officer and then write an essay. Dont stress out about it! If you talk at admitted students they either a) don’t remember what they wrote about or b) do and remember writing something that was nonsensical. They understand that you are under pressure. Just do your best and write with care.

you’re gutted, tortured, and hung on a spate.

…o.O LOL no, they’re actually pretty casual imo xD i didn’t apply to middlesex, but for exeter it was a chat where each of you sat in an armchair and talked about what you liked about exeter and your own passions. the degree of awkward turtleness depends on how awkward you make it yourself. i had one interview where it seemed terribly scripted and really stiff, and they just kinda fired questions at me, but for another we had tons of fun and even went off topic to talk about how steinbeck. which was nice and nerdy :P

wait…so flip, do they watch you or something while you write the essay??

No. He left me in this office to write it and said I had about ten minutes. Then he told me to come to this room when I was done.

Oh wow, ten minutes? That’s intense.

i meant exeter off-campus interviews if anybodies had those btw

also, sorry to hijack ur thread :/

It’s ok, I need info on Exeter too :D
