I am applying EA, and I sent my scores priority report today (the deadline). What happens if it is not postmarked/they don't receive it today, but they receive the rest of my application?

I’d suggest you go back to the school’s website and see if they have a posted policy about this. Usually they want all your materials (application, essay, etc) by the deadline, but might be a little flexible if all the ancillary materials (transcript, LOR, things that are not in your control) are not in yet. That said, if you waited til the deadline to send your SAT and/or ACT scores and something didn’t make the deadline, there are probably lots of applicants whose materials did make the deadline. When did you get your scores back? Was there a reason you waited til the last day to send them?

you’d get rejected,

duh .

For some schools they’ll automatically defer you. But it really depends on the method of which you order your transcripts and which the school receives them.

We do them online and I sent two of mine out at the same time. One school received it online and it was done instantly and the other requested paper and it took like 2 extra weeks. (made it two days before the deadline THANK GOD.)

Try to ask your Counseling office on monday!
