What happens If I don't withdraw applications?

So I got into The George Washington University as ED2. I told my parents that I have to withdraw my applications from 7 other colleges that I applied to. Then, they got mad at me for being inconsiderate because all the application money that they paid will become worthless if I withdraw. (typical asian parents -_- ) Also I think they wanted me just not withdraw them because (well, I think) they wanted to hear from the other colleges that whether I get accepted or not. What do I do? What are the possibilities that GWU will find out that I did not withdraw my applications and revoke me along with the other colleges that I sent my applications to? Should I still try to convince my parents? Or just wait...I'm scared because I do not want to get rejected from all the colleges for not following the early decision agreement.

I'm just asking what are the chances for GWU to find out?

If you do not withdraw your other applications you are breaking the ED contract you made with GWU. You will lose your acceptance and on top of that if other schools find out they may recind their acceptances as well.

@UTPG1234: So I should withdraw as soon as possible right? Ugh. I don’t what to tell my parents. I can only convince them if I have a hard evidence that says “I will get revoke.” Thank you though!

Oh, but I only have received estimated financial aid. So should I wait for the finalized financial aid then withdraw?

You may wait until you receive a final financial aid offer, but if finances are in order, you need to withdraw your other apps. This stipulation should be made clear on your ED offer if your parents are pressuring you to keep your other apps.

You need to withdraw either from GW (due to insufficient financial aid, solely a family decision) or the other apps, your choice. Schools do communicate, and don’t want dishonest kids on campus.
