I just took the SAT II subject test a week ago and during the chemistry test, I got caught using the calculator and the proctor wrote my name done afterwards. I swear I didn't know I was not suppose to use a calculator!
I know someone who got caught doing a different section in the SAT I test and it had tremendous influence to his college application (he could've got into much better schools without this bad record)
Does using a calculator counted as cheating as well? Will colleges receive information from the college board about this accident? Will it influence my future college application? I'm really nervous right now!

The worse that could happen is that your score gets cancelled. If that happens you still have time to take again next year. Colleges won’t be notified and it won’t have any effect whatsoever when applying to colleges. Calm down haha

^^^I think that this is right.

Then why did the guy who got caught doing a different section in the SAT I had so much influence in his application process?
