I want to send in my application early, not as a early decision applicant. So the deadline for early decision at my interested college is November 15; however, I do not want to apply as early decision, so I apply the next day November 16. Would I be consider as early decision applicant or would they imply that I'm just applying early on time when the deadline for regular is just 1-2 months away. By the way, this college doesn't have a priority date. Same for my other colleges in general.

You can apply anytime you want. If you mark that you are applying RD and you don’t fill out, sign and send the ED commitment form then the school will place you in the RD pool. There are many students who just want to get their applications filed but don’t want to apply ED.

Since you won’t be sending an ED contract, they will not confuse your application with the ED applications.

That’s totally fine. If it’s on the Common App and you select Regular Decision, it will be in the Regular Decision pile.

They will not start reading the RD applications until the RD deadline has passed. They will be rather busy with the EA/ED applications throughout November and December.
