What happens if you didn't sign the certification statement at the end of your SAT?

So I finished writing the message in cursive the "I hereby state...." But my class was behind since everyone was late, and the proctor was rushing us to finish and she told us that we could finish it at the end of our test so I made the biggest mistake of my life and decided to just sign my signature later at the end of the test. But...consequently, my proctor forgot to remind us and I handed my test in....Does anyone like REALLY know, hands on experience, know whats going to happen to my test? Will I be able to receive my score in anyway, or ask for a repeal if it gets cancelled? Will it be delayed? I need specific answers :(

Seems like a confusing situation  I hope they won’t cancel your scores. But hey, I know a friend of mine who started his essay on 2nd page because of test anxiety. He received his essay score anyways. I hope they won’t care about your mistake.

I know… I hope they don’t cancel it too :frowning:
Wah, is there any chance that they might not see it as a problem?

I don’t think they would cancel it over something silly like that, but if you want to be safe you should probably call them - the sooner the better.

Haha I called them & they said that they won’t know if its a problem until they receive the tests. They said that collegeboard would notify me if there was a problem, but one of my counselors told me that at times, they won’t give you a chance to explain yourself and will just void your score without an explanation.

They won’t cancel your score. The cursive is meant to see variances in your cursive every time you take a test. It ensures that the same person is taking and not someone else. Unless your score jumps like 400 points, you should be fine.

Haha thanks for the reassurance but what about the signature that makes you agree to not send out any test information through w.e and etc? Since I didn’t sign that, wouldn’t the colleges assume that I wouldn’t follow their guidelines? :(

*Okay just one last verifying question: Is it safe to assume that collegeboard will at least contact me if there is a problem and allow me to explain myself without the use of a lawyer and etc?

Hey could you tell me what happened in the end? Did your score get cancelled? I made the same mistake yesterday.
