you got accpeted ED II, but haven't mailed your $800 enrollment deposit by March 1st? will they not accept you if you turn it in later...? because all it really says is "however, in order for us to guarantee you freshman housing, you must return your declaration of intent, and non-refundable enrollment deposit to us by March 1, 2005." i'm waiting to get my financial aid package before i turn in the enrollment deposit.....

You really should call and ask. No one will think the worse of you. $800 is a bunch of money.

ahellk,
In reality, the admission is not conditional on your acceptance of their financial aid offer, so I think you had better get the money in if you want a place...or maybe you already have. ED II, like ED I is binding, no matter how much they do or don't offer you...

$800? ***? Most of the colleges I've looked at are $250 to $300.

Greedy bastards!

haha... well I would say that charging 46,000 per year is also quite greedy... where as gw isn't even an "ivy" league school and since most private colleges costs thousands less per year....

Lots of schools charge that much. GW is only one of many privates that charge over 40k per year. Also, most people who need it get financial aid, and A TON of people(like myself) get nice little merit scholarships to even the price out to about 34,000 a year.

When did you hear about your merit scholarship?

When I got accepted. With my acceptance package. I applied for fin. aid and didn't get any, but this was a pleasant surprise.
