I don't want to offend anyone. I myself am a Catholic, and sometimes wonder. What if the human race was created by aliens some millions of years ago as a scientific experiment, and God was the scientist in the lab who created two humans and shipped us to some empty planet and see how we make it.

Here's my other thought.

What if, we humans are decedents of an alien race, who was running from their planet that was becoming barren. And the only way to continue their race was to send a few of them to a planet and have us survive and continue the race. History repeats. Right now scientists are looking for planets for us to colonize to continue the human race if the earth ceases to exist, since my 2110 there will be a asteroid hitting the earth and by 2080 we have to find a way to stop this asteroid from hitting us. Because if it does the human race will be close to extinction.

If I recall, many ancient people spoke of aliens and bright lights in the sky. And even created sculptures of airplanes and men in space suits coming to earth. This may sound weird to you, but I always think of this stuff.

Haha, someone has been watching Ancient Aliens.

I do not believe that God is an extraterrestrial life-form of another species. If this was the case, though, and He was not the omnipotent, omniscient, all-good deity, then I would cease my religion and quickly begin attempts at biological immortality.

However, as I said, I don’t believe that, and I am quite happy in my faith.

(FYI, the Vatican has said that the existence of extraterrestrials is consistent with believing in God. Maybe they think a good God would have seeded the Universe with life. Or maybe they’re just trying to cover all the bases)

you ever heard of the zoo hypothesis of fermi paradox? that we’re being kept in a controlled environment so aliens can study us without tampering.
anyways, back on topic… have you been watching too much history channel? :P

OP, play both Assassin’s Creed games, $h!t bricks when you get to the end of the second one. According to the games, the Bible is a chronicle of human’s rebellion against the “Gods” (more like technologically advanced aliens) that created us. Adam and Eve stole the Apple of Eden (a piece of futuristic technology) and rebelled against their creators.

What is an alien? Do you mean “what if God is an nonhuman extraterrestrial entity?” In that case, I’d say he is! If you mean, “what if the being that gave us the Bible, appeared to various ancients, etc. is actually a biological creature from another planet”, I’d say that in that case I’d start looking for the God that created them.

BTW am I the only one who thinks this is ineffable twaddle:
