What if you attended more than one high school ( International )

I attended 2 high schools, in the first one I did 9th-10th and in the second one I did 11th-12th. Should I get transcripts and letters of recommendation from both schools separately? That would be letters of recommendation from *2 different counselors, *2 teachers from the first school and *2 teachers from the second school, *transcripts of 9th-10th sent by the first school and *transcripts of 11th-12th sent by the second school OR could the counselor from the school I graduated send my transcripts on behalf of both schools at once.

I would really appreciate your help with this , I’m confused because I don’t know if I have to go to both schools or I can just get all my documents from the one I graduated, ( transcript from 9th to 12th, 1 letter of recommendation from just 1 counselor and 1 letter from 2 teachers respectively )

What do you suggest?

Do the transcripts from your current school have your 9/10 grade records on them?

There is no need for rec’s from your first school.

Talk to your guidance counselor. You should see the transcript from your current school would look like and how your 9th and 10th grade classes were noted. Some schools document this clearly, like “biology 1 equivalent credit” others just say something generic like “science credit.” Honors pre-AP may or may not be noted.

If your current school transcript does not show your academic record at its best, you should submit transcripts from both schools.

The total number of letters required doesn’t change, and most colleges prefer recent ones to ones from 9th anyway, but you can ask for them from any teacher you are still in touch with.

Talk to your guidance counselor. They will take care of it. They will get the transcript and the “school profile”.

Check with your colleges as well. Some may request official transcripts from the first place.
