What if you're just not having any "fun"?

Hey guys, I'm a sophomore at a top 50 ranked school.
Academics at the school are great, especially for my major(finance). Got a sweet abroad program lined up for next semester, biz school building is being rebuilt for next year w/ a bunch of sweet stuff , and really good internship/job placement in NYC. Finished freshman year with a 3.8, so I'm happy about that.

But other than the prospect of getting a good job after graduation, there's nothing else that really gets me pumped about school.

-Campus life is pretty dead, especially on weekends when you would want something to do.
School's A LOT more commuter heavy than I expected coming in as a freshman, and even worse, a huge percentage of the residents go home on the weekends being that the majority of them are rich suburban white kids from the tri state area.
-Diversity is pretty much non existant.
-Student Clubs are a bit lacking, when compared to university's of similar caliber.
-Night life is reduced to a few fars off campus, and the occasional house party. but it suffers extremely considering we have no greek life.

I can go on and on about a lot more topics such as food, dorm policies (i live off campus now so it doesnt matter heh),etc. Last year I got the chance to visit friends who go to schools that are similarly ranked and similiarly priced (BC,BU,GWU,GTown, NYU,etc) and was surprised by how much better quality everything non-academic related was. I'm talking better facilities, dining halls , campus services, dorm policies and heck, much better nightlife (especially in boston heh).
Left thinking to myself, "wow..im getting robbed"

which leads me to my question:
Is simply not having enough "fun" a good enough reason to transfer and start all over junior year? Obviously that's not what I would write for the "why transfer" essay if I do decide to transfer, but it's just that I don't have a purely academic motivation to transfer.
I feel like I'm being robbed of a good college experience i guess haha.

After the abroad thing, transfer.

I feel the same way! I’m a sophomore, my school is top 25 and people are really focused on studying rather than doing ‘fun’ things. I make good grades and still have time for fun, but it seems like everyone else just has no time. I’m bored, unfulfilled, and unhappy. Very likely transferring, and for the same reason you are, it seems like. I want that college experience that I can look back on with happiness, and if I stayed here I don’t think I’d get that.

I can have fun later when I’m using the salary I earned via having an engineering degree to buy a Ferrari.

Professors have even said that in today’s economy, you cannot have “fun” anymore if you want to succeed.

^That’s asinine.
