what if you're not happy after you transfer?

Is anyone else afraid of this? I don't HATE my current school, but I think I would be happier somewhere bigger, with more opportunities. I'd like to transfer to BU, Northeastern, or Cornell. But what if I go through all the work to transfer and I leave the friends I've already made just to find out that I'm not happy at these schools either? I do want to transfer, i guess I'm jsut scared. Really scared, actually. I already went through the transition once, and I'm not looking forward to doing it again. I just hope it's worth it.

Anyone else?

Me too. I want to leave UNC CH for Wake Forest, but I have a few friends I've made here. I just hate the size of the school and the oodles of instate kids who tend to stick around with their hometown crew. I think I could be happier at Wake since it's more my style of school (I went to a small, private prep school for high school), but I'm scared the "Work Forest" reputation will be too much for me and I might fall flat socially. I feel as if the upside is higher than what I have here at Chapel Hill.
