I'm currently 5'10", and I'm dying to reach just 6 foot flat before I stop growing. I'm already 18 years old, so I feel like I don't have too many growth spurts left to get those 2 inches...now I know genetics is the biggest factor in height, but is there anything I can do that will help me?

It is technically possible that if you break your legs (a full clean break) when they heal there would be more bone tissue which would theoretically make you taller…

Why do you want to be taller?

I’m perfectly content for being 5’10". 6 ft is a rather arbitrary number. Think of them in metric units: 6 feet is 185 cm and 5’10" is 178 cm. There’s really no difference.

HGH. Just as long as you aren’t planning on any athletic scholarships.

you should be happy. at least you aren’t 5 6 like me.

You should be happy. At least you aren’t 5’8" like me.

5’11.5’'. I’m rounding.

I thought you meant grow a different area…

you should be happy. at least you aren’t 5’ .5’’ like me. yes i count the .5 inch.

^yup same here. Almost 17yrs old and I’m exactly 5’5". My dream is to get to 5’10" before I’m done growing. 6’ is kind of a “stretch” at this point haha

go take a swim

5’10" is a perfectly good height, that’s how tall I am and would be pretty content. But, I’m only 15, almost 16, so I doubt I’ll be 5’10" for long

Shoe inserts, duh.

You should be happy, at least you’re not 4’9 like me lol.

ahahah at least your not 5’5, im sure your getting annoyed by these type of comments, but really there is no actual way, maybe jumping rope?

im 5,6 but i round up 1 inch

Drink plenty of water and put yourself in direct sunlight.

at least you’re not 4’1" like me

Wow 18 replies and only one actually tried answering the question…
