Hi, I got inspired by one of the threads in the SAT section. So what do you consider as a good ACT score? :)

I would consider anything 28+ as good and 31+ as excellent

IMO 32+ is good, 34+ is very good.

anything good enough

i feel like the score that i have now isn’t good enough. lol in the past i would’ve thought it’s a very nice score. but now, i don’t know, i feel like one of those ppl who has a 35 or 2300 and wants to retake. us humans are never satisfied! lol

A good ACT score is above the 75th percentile of your dream college. There’s no other way to answer the question. Looking at the populace as a whole, a 25 is an excellent score, but that would be considered very low on CC. It just depends on the person and what score he or she needs.

imo anything above 30 is a good score :)

good for what?

same question, good for what?

I’d say 30 too.

good for in general. colleges, among the population, etc

36.
“A good ACT score is above the 75th percentile of your dream college.”

^Well it’s true, YoHo, the only really exceptional ACT score at MIT or Harvard is a 36.

If good is defined as above average, then you are looking at a score above 21 which is said to be the national average.

Simple.

Imo, 34+. But 36 is ideal :)

On these forums, a 30+ is good. 34+ is the goal.

In regular people world (where I’m located), a 21+ is above average and a 27+ is good.
