What do YOU consider a good ACT score?

I would say 32+.

It depends on the college one is applying to.
For example, if one is applying to a Tier II school, I’d say a 27+ is a good score.
But if one is applying to an Ivy League school, then I’d say a 33+ is a good score.

For general purposes, however, I would agree with you in that a 32+ is a good score!

id agree with 32+
Generally speaking, a 32 cant hurt your admissions chances at pretty much every college (possibly excluding ivies). Doesnt necessarily help at some top colleges, but wont hurt either.

Generally, 31+

For top tier schools, 34+

Depends on what you mean by “good”. If you’re talking about what I would be impressed by if someone else got, then a 34+; if you’re talking about what I would consider a good score for myself, then a 35+.

I consider a 34/35 a good score for myself.

a 36-Although im happy with my score, i feel that its not good enough for the schools that im applying to

29+ is generally indicative of a good student, though I know smart people who suck at the ACT

32+ is good for top schools

34+ is what I consider a good score for myself

Once you get to the high scores, I don’t think score differences mean very much. Someone with a 36 answered only a few more questions correctly than someone with a 34 or 35.

This fact haunts me…

A good ACT score is a score that will not HURT your chances of getting into a school. A great one will help your chances.

Good? do you all realize than a 28 is 91st percentile!!! good is probably a 26 and up

In general, the best way is to look at your score as a percentile. Since the scores are curved in nature, 32-33 upwards tends to be a benchmark for doing great on the test since getting your score up any higher will be a trial in and of itself.

Personally, 34-36 would be a goal range. If I can get a 32 test with practically a quarter of the reading section being guesses, then a 33 shouldn’t be much harder and 34 is only a question or two better.

33 - l33t…

ATM at 30, aiming for 33+ in october

I understand this board tends to attract people who do extremely well and/or very strongly care about ACT, but 23 is above average.

28+

…
