I understand that the passing score for the math placement exam is a 70% or better for each subsection; however, I'm not clear if the same score goes for the chemistry placement exam.

I took the chemistry placement exam today with low expectations (I only took honors chemistry sophomore year, so I was planning to fail the chemistry placement exam, didn't study, finished the 30 questions in 17 minutes with 43 minutes to spare, ect.), yet pulled a 70% out of my butt. At first I thought this meant I "passed," but when I went to the UCF website to double check all I found was the phrase "satisfactory score."

Does anyone have any insight? Thanks!
