What is a Pharmacy degree?

<p>Hi CCers, this might sound a bit dumb but what is a pharmacy degree and what do you do with it? Do you become a pharmacist who works for CVS pharmacy department or something...? (Sorry I sound very uninformed...)</p>

<p>Im currently a science major at undergrad and am looking around what my potential options might be for grad school (if any) and I never really looked into pharm degree at all...</p>

<p>Yes, you can become a pharmacist working in a retail store, or you can be one in a hospital or other health care setting. You can work at a pharmaceutical company, something I didn’t know until a few years ago when I met a pharmacist who was doing just that.</p>
