LOLOLOL im just wondering

It depends on how many people are playing. I usually score in the upper-100s when I play one-on-one, and I’m a bad scrabble player.

total score > 600 and/or individual score > 250 is really good for amateurs

by amateurs I mean those of us that haven’t memorized the scrabble dictionary for all the 2 and 3 letter words that have Q or Z or X in them

Kei

awesome! thanks.

Any score that beats the opponents.

For me at least. :D

The lid of a scrabble box says that a good score for an experience player is between 300 and 400. . . my high score is 552, average score ~340.

^play in a tournament. I bet you could win.

A decent score is any score that is higher than the other players’.

^^ Buit are you playing against tough competition?

no-- not really. the only tough competition is my parents… they have excellent vocabulary and luck when it comes to the letters.

but i just wanted to gage what score should make me “feel proud of myself” or that i have decent game if i ever play against anyone else lol. =D

^ It seems to me that it’s hard to tell. For example, against my sister I’d probably be able to use lots of double and triple word boxeds that my mom would snap up right away.

I’ve only ever played one-on-one with my mom. We both normally end up with scores in the 250-350 range. I’m glad to see there are other people on CC who play Scrabble. Wewt.
